Your name and email address is captured during the registration process and stored along with your chosen password in our database. All passwords are encrypted for storage, using a process known as one-way hashing which means they are not be discovered even by somebody with full access to the database.

We may provide functions on the website to allow you to add additional information such as a photo, or information about your employer and job function.

If you log into the site with a LinkedIn username and password, then we will collect basic information about your profile from LinkedIn, such as current job function and employer and we will also have access to a profile photo for you. Please note that we never receive LinkedIn passwords through this process.

We hate spam too, which is why FixSpec never gives or sells any private data (including names or email addresses) to any third party
